I’ve lived in the east of Paris for four years and one of my favourite places to walk is Père Lachaise, situated in the 20th arrondissement and only a ten minute walk from my apartment. It may sound strange to some that I enjoy walking around a cemetery, but it is renowned for it’s beauty and one of the few places in my area where I can escape the noise of the city.
I’ve often noticed the community of crows that live in the trees of Père Lachaise so during one of my walks I took my binaural microphones with me and stopped to record them.
